This was sent to me, and I'm merely forwarding it on FYI. Rather interesting. Of course, in my view, this simply illustrates the fact that hypocrisy is part and parcel of American politics.
I personally talked to a man today who works for a company headquartered in Southern California. He's thinking about retiring soon, but may not be able to because he can't really afford to. The thing that has him thinking about it, though, is the fact that his company is planning on moving their operations to Mexico, and he doesn't necessarily want to move there at this point in his life. He may be in a predicament...

Shortly after reading the following e-mail content, I happened to look at the label of a jar of Heinz sandwich slice pickles. Yep....
"Made in Mexico"
Check your Heinz product labels. Sen. John Kerry keeps talking about U.S. corporations leaving this country and setting up shop in foreign countries and taking thousands of jobs with them. He is right about that, which is no big deal, since that is common knowledge among literate Americans.
However, Kerry daily is trying to blame this on George W. Bush. As far as I know, President Bush has not moved one single factory overseas because he is not the owner of one single factory.
This cannot be said of John Kerry and his wife, Teresa Heinz-Kerry.
According to the Wall Street Journal, the Kerrys own 32 factories in Europe and 18 in Asia and the Pacific. In addition, their company, the Heinz Company, leases four factories in Europe and four in Asia. Additionally, they own 27 factories in North America, some of which are located in Mexico and the Caribbean.
80% of Heinz products are made overseas. I wonder how many hundreds of American workers lost their jobs when these plants relocated in to these foreign countries? I also wonder if the workers in Mexico and Asia are paid the same wages and benefits as workers in the USA?
Of course they're not. However, Kerry demands that other companies that relocate should pay the same benefits they did in the U.S. Why does he not demand this of the Heinz Company dynasty, since he is married to its owner?
If Kerry is elected, will he and his wife close all those foreign factories and bring all those jobs back to America? Of course they won't. Kerry bashes corporate America and sleeps with organized labor, all the while overlooking Teresa Heinz-Kerry's huge corporation's practices.
While he's trying to live off of the fat of our land and appeal to the poor, downcast and disadvantaged as being their champion...Kerry's only demonstrated core value has been greed and his 20 year residency in the U.S. Senate has been memorable only for his singular lack of achievement--authoring or co-authoring precisely zero pieces of legislation during his tenure while accumulating the most hard-left
liberal voting record of all 100 senators presently in office--including Teddy Kennedy!
The Kerrys are making millions off that cheap foreign labor, not to mention political control over the millions in our federal tax dollars that JFK (John Forbes Kerry) always votes to increase.
This is sheer hypocrisy.
Truth has been aptly defined as "the point where words and deeds intersect." Look at both candidates and see which one's words and deeds are in alignment. It's quite obvious, isn't it? One is a tinny imported weather vane without steady direction, even when times are good, and the other is a principled anchor responding wisely to the unprecedented threats that have been facing our nation.
November 2nd, 2004--it's truly a no-brainer...
