Things change. That
is the only constant that there is that I've found! I no
longer attend drummings for some unknown reason. I enjoyed
them very much but have stopped going. I still enjoy the
memories and the tapes that Greg made of our drummings....

| Deck Drumming
| During the summer, Greg, a friend of
mine, has drumming parties out on the drumming deck where he lives.
These happenings appear about every month. Mostly the
people that attend are in recovery, N.A. and A.A., and if not, it's
not held against you! :-)lol! Everyone is
welcome. It doesn't matter if you bring a covered dish for Pot
Luck or not.
These drumming parties are a wonderful chance for me to enjoy
life and other people. Some come from as far away as the west
coast or as close as just down the road! I will say that when
it gets too hot in the summer months, I don't usually go.
Greg's drumming deck is located in the Ozark Mountains and has a
beautiful scenic view of Beaver Lake, which is located in Northwest
Arkansas.
I'm not real good at drumming, and don't own a drum (darn) but
ya' don't need to own one or be good at drumming to enjoy yourself
and the company of others. . . |
